She founded Initiafy in 2012 with her business partner, Sean Fennell, and together they have fine-tuned a contractor management platform which now has over 300,000 users and hundreds of global customers, focusing mainly in heavy industry such as construction, mining and energy.
Julie is a part of EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women Class of 2019 and is a mentor at BackforBusiness, which supports returning emigrants setting up businesses. In 2016 Julie won the ‘Women Mean Business’ award for Newcomer of the Year and in 2017 she won the runner-up prize for the Best Young Entrepreneur in Ireland.
Within her various roles Julie has worked internationally, mainly in UK and US, and is now based in Dublin, Ireland.
Ray Coppinger is the Head of Marketing at Teamwork, a leading provider of business management software that aims to make teams more efficient and productive. Over the last 10 years, Ray has led teams at some of the world’s most innovative and high growth companies such as PGI, Marketo and now Teamwork. These experiences have seen him lead significant growth projects, as well as marketing technology transformation projects — all of which have had significant outcomes for the whole organisation.
Ray has extensive experience in marketing leadership, demand generation, project management, change management and marketing measurement. This powerful blend of experience has given him a skill set which enables him to drive positive change and growth in the organisations in which he works. He is constantly looking for learning opportunities and for new challenges.
